Your Privacy is important to us.

Socrates Press and its subsidiaries take customer privacy seriously. No personal information that you may share with us is released to outside parties with the following exceptions:

1. We will cooperate with law enforcement and will comply with court orders. We may release customer account or other information if we're advised that release is necessary to comply with the law, or to protect the rights, property and safety of Socrates Press and its subsidiaries, our customers or others. This may include the exchange of information with companies and organizations or law enforcement for legal investigation, loss prevention and credit risk reduction.

2. In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name and address available to such companies as United Parcel Service, Federal Express and the U.S. Postal Service.

3. Under unusual circumstances we may need to “job out” an order. In such a case, only the information necessary to produce your product will be given to the subcontractor. Nearly all product is produced in-house.

4. In the event the company is sold, the succeeding parties will receive our customer records for the purpose of providing future support to existing customers.

We do not rent, sell or share our customer list or customer data. 

Your Security is important to us.

Orders placed to our site are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This assures you that information you send is protected as it travels over the Internet. Notice when you go to “check out,” that the page URL will change from “http://” to “https://”. The addition of the letter “s” indicates you have entered a page secured with SSL.

Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card information.
